The only signal that matters today: someone's making $108K/month on a video tool you could build in a weekend

225 new cards hit the feed today, 68 fresh signals. Web search is still the king at 9794 signals, but honestly? Payment discovery is where the money's at. Always has been.

Let's cut through the noise. Three things caught my eye:

1. AI-Powered Short Video Auto-Editing Tool — $108,475 in the last 30 days. Pricing at $19-99/mo. This is the kind of number that makes you stop scrolling. Someone's actually printing money turning long-form content into TikTok/Reels clips.

Real talk: this space is getting crowded. But the fact that someone's pulling in six figures monthly means there's still room. The trick isn't building the tool — it's finding the right niche. Podcasters? Course creators? Corporate comms teams? Pick one and go deep.

If I were building this: FFmpeg + Whisper for transcription + a simple React frontend. The AI part is mostly just smart cutting based on silence detection and keyword spotting. You don't need GPT-4 for this. Ship in 2 weeks.

2. On-demand branded merchandise production and sales platform — This is interesting because it's not just another AI wrapper. Real logistics play. Brands need merch fast, factories take forever. If you can bridge that gap with a slick platform...

But here's the thing: this is hard. Inventory, fulfillment, quality control. Unless you're doing print-on-demand, you're fighting real-world logistics. The score is 90 but I'm skeptical. You'd need serious operational chops.

3. Build AI Chatbot Based on Documents — This is the one I'd actually build. Every business has PDFs, wikis, SOPs they want to query. The tech is straightforward: embed documents, vector search, GPT-3.5/4 for answers.

Monetization is clean: tiered by document volume and messages. No inventory, no logistics, just code. The 88 score feels right. This is the "boring but profitable" play.

The no-code platforms keep showing up (85-88 scores) but honestly? That market is saturated. Bubble, Retool, Appsmith, FlutterFlow — do you really want to compete there?

My take: if you've got 2 weeks and want to make money, build the document chatbot. Pick a vertical (legal docs? medical records? school materials?), build the simplest version, and charge $29/mo. If you can get 100 customers, that's $3K MRR. Not life-changing, but it's a start.

The video tool guy is making real money, but that's a harder sell — you need to prove your AI actually makes better clips than a human editor.

I'm honestly surprised there's nothing in the travel or health niches today. Those are usually goldmines. Maybe tomorrow.

Anyway, that's it. 225 cards, 68 signals, and one clear winner. Go build something.
