1 new card today. 202 new signals scraped from web_search (9870 signals total). One platform: producthunt. One category: design.
The only card that made me stop scrolling:
3D Earth interactive display tool — "I want to display geographic data or give presentations, but can't find a simple cool 3D Earth tool." Score: 60. Monetization: needs research.
This is interesting because it's a dead-simple pain point. People want to show data on a globe and the existing options are either overengineered (Cesium, deck.gl) or ugly as hell (Google Earth's interface is a crime against UX). But "needs research" on monetization is a red flag. If you can't immediately see how to charge for it, you're probably building a feature, not a product.
That said, I'd build this as a Canva-style embeddable widget. Charge $19/month for the ability to drop pins, color-code regions, and export a shareable link. Stack: Three.js or Cesium for the rendering, Supabase for user data, Stripe for payments. The real question: is this a one-time novelty or something people actually need weekly? My gut says it's a "cool demo for the board meeting" tool — which means enterprise sales, not self-serve SaaS.
The other 202 signals are probably noise. One card from Product Hunt means the community didn't find much else worth surfacing today. Either that or the scraping algorithm is having an off day.
Honestly? I'd skip this one unless you've got a specific client who's begging for it. But if you're bored and want a fun weekend project, go nuts. Just don't quit your day job.
